About ITM Pathways Academy
ITM Pathway Academy has been created exclusively to cater to students’ aspirations to pursue higher education in the UK, Australia and Canada.
Our pathway diploma programs allow you to choose a bachelor’s degree with one of our partner universities and start your study in India. When you apply for admission, ITM and your chosen University will evaluate your qualifications to pursue the program. You’ll be granted admission to the 1 Year Pathway Diploma at ITM in India if you’re eligible. Complete the Diploma, and you’ll automatically be eligible to transfer directly into Year 2 at your chosen University and program.
This is a Cohort based program- You’ll be joining a batch of 15-30 students headed abroad for similar programs and universities. As part of this Cohort, you will attend a full-time, one-year-long course mapped with the 1st Year of the same program at your chosen University.
A key feature of the Pathway Diploma is its design which incorporates global standards of education and delivery, ensuring you experience the same standards of teaching and learning which you would get internationally. Designing and finalizing the curriculum has undergone a very structured and exhaustive process. The curriculum meets and exceeds the typical first-year curriculum across multiple universities and has a large component of co-curricular, self-development and extra-curricular activities.

Program Design
ITM Pathways Academy explores knowledge, skills and their application to the global industry scenario. The courses being offered follow an outcome-based approach, with students developing the ability to demonstrate their learning. The courses are designed to encourage a high level of student engagement, thereby facilitating students to develop skills such as working in a team and individually, academic literacy skills, developing excellent communication and presentation skills and more.

Our programs are delivered by a dedicated team of expert faculties from various disciplines, alongside visiting faculties with significant industry experience. In addition, a panel of expert trainers focus on developing the student’s communication, IELTS, Computer, data analytics and foreign language skills.

Here’s what all we cover in the pathway diploma program.Academic Core
This is the core set of subjects mapped to the Year 1 curriculum of your chosen university degree course. There will be 10-12 subjects split over 2 semesters, starting with introductory courses in your chosen field of study and developing your understanding of the subject matter over two semesters. Unlike Indian University teaching methods, we will use a highly interactive methodology that requires significant class participation, pre-reading, directed study and weekly assignments. Each Semester will have class tests/projects and mid-term and final assessments, giving you ample opportunity to perform well.
Foundation Skills
This is our secret weapon! We’ve studied the skills and competencies that help students to excel in their degree courses abroad, and we will work with you to strengthen these within you. Alongside the core academic curriculum, you will take up coursework in:
Academic English & Formal Communication
This will help you practice and perfect your written and spoken English, work well with faculties and students and communicate clearly and effectively in formal and business environments. You’ll get lots of practice in group work, presentations and asking and answering questions in the classroom.
Research skills, Report and Assignment Writing
As you know, the style of teaching and learning is very different abroad, where the focus is on self-directed learning, group projects, individual assignments and research-driven report writing. We will teach you how to do secondary research, literature reviews and assignment-based reading- all crucial to getting good course scores.
Advanced Skill sets
In today’s world, every student must be highly competent in various skills, regardless of their chosen course and career. To ensure you go abroad with full skills, ITM will teach you some essential skills in Python programming, Advanced Excel, Data Analytics, Case Study Methodology, Graphic Design and building Presentations.
IELTS Preparation
Depending on the university and visa requirements, you may need to take the IELTS exam as a prerequisite to your admission to the university. ITM Pathways Academy will provide you with intensive IELTS training of 4 months, with experienced faculties and Mock tests. Further revision training will also be provided if you take the test and score lower than required.
Finishing Skills
The biggest concern for students and parents is the culture shock of moving abroad for studies. At ITM Pathways Academy, we have included thorough training to help you get attuned to the differences in culture, language, society, etiquette, Grooming and Self Presentation. We will also train you on Managing Personal funds, banking, financial aid resources and more.
